Futuristic sewing

I know it's only a concept design, but holy cow I want one of these!

A sewing machine that projects your stitch unto the fabric as a guideline.  Comes with a backlit work area too.

And that’s not the best part.

It can also MATCH the colour of your thread to the colour of your fabric, and PRINTS the thread as you go.

This project is called 'Leitfaden' and is designed by Monika Jakubek and Anna Müller.  Images taken from Yanko Design

Uses inkjet to dye the thread.. I hope it's waterproof, or else after 1 wash, all the colour will come out & your benang will be white! Wakakaka!

But i like the other features... if i love sewing, i'd prob wait with bated breath.

I sure hope it's water proof too! It's a nice idea, because looking/buying/changing threads can be a pain :P

Things like that makes me wish I did product design!

I just moved into my new home sweet home, and now busy getting some trees and flowers in my little garden.
